Bheer mein aik ajnabi ka saamna acha laga

sab se chhup kar woh kissi ka dekhna acha laga

Surmai Aankhon ke neechey phool se khilney lagey

kehtey kehtey kuch kissi ka sochna acha laga

baat tou kuch bhi nahin thi laiken "uss" ka aik dum

haath ko honton pe rakh kar rokna acha laga

Chaa'ey mein cheeni milaana uss ghari bhaaya buhut

zair - e lab woh muskuraata "shukria" acha laga

Dil mein kitney aehed baandhey thay bhulaaney ke ussey

woh mila tou sab iraadey torna acha laga

Uss udoo - e - jaan ko amjad bura kaisey kahoon

jab bhi Aaya saamney woh be-wafa acha laga
