Kal Halki Halki Barish thi, Kal Sard Hawa ka Ruqs Bhi Tha.

Kal Phool bhi Nikhray Nikhray Thay, Kal Un Me Aap Ka Aks bhi Tha,

Kal Badal Kaalay Gehrey Thay, kal chand pay laakho pehry they.

Kuch Tukray aap ki yaadon kay, Bari dair say dil main thehray thy.

Kal yaadain uljhi uljhi theen, or kal tak yeh na suljhi theen.

Kal yaad bohat tum aay thay...

Hum to Masroof the apni "Tanhaiyon" mein,

"Muddatton" baad kisi ne pukara hai,

Ek Pal to Hhum" ruk kar Sochne Lage,

Kiya waqai yehi "naam" hamara hai.
